Two sets of Select Bearings survived over 1 million hand pump cycles each at a simulated head of 50M with no appreciable wear.
Several sets of Select Bearings were installed in live hand pumps in Ghana with no reported failures after 3 years.
Laboratory rigorous testing and evaluation is being performed comparing wear of factory installed handle bearings to Select Bearings. Results are expected to be published by June 2020.
Live trials are about to start in Burkina Faso at several hand pump locations.
